02Key Areas of Study
The 8-Week Certification Program
Our curriculum is designed to move beyond basic mechanics, focusing on the intersection of technology, business, and community leadership. The program consists of 6 weeks of classroom instruction followed by 2 weeks of supervised station practice

Module 1: Solar Systems Fundamentals (Weeks 1-2)
Participants learn photovoltaic technology, solar panel installation, inverter systems, and energy storage. Hands-on training includes installing a 10 kW solar system at a Swap & Glow™ station. By the end of this module, graduates understand how solar energy is captured, stored, and distributed.

Module 2: SIRA™ Battery Management (Weeks 3-4)
Deep dive into SIRA™ battery technology, battery management systems, charge/discharge cycles, and diagnostics. Participants learn to identify battery health issues, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot problems. Hands-on training includes swapping 100+ batteries and using diagnostic tools.

Module 3: Station Operations & IoT Monitoring (Weeks 5-6)
Participants learn to operate Swap & Glow™ stations, manage inventory, monitor IoT systems, and respond to alerts. Training includes mobile app usage, real-time data interpretation, and customer service protocols. Participants manage a live station during this module, handling actual customers and transactions.

Module 4: Leadership & Financial Management (Weeks 7-8)
Participants learn business fundamentals, financial literacy, team management, and customer retention strategies. Training includes budgeting, revenue optimization, staff supervision, and community engagement. Participants develop a business plan for their assigned station.

What is the BaSuka Academy?
The BaSuka Academy is a specialized training engine designed to create a pipeline of certified women leaders for the clean-energy sector. It provides the technical, business, and leadership skills necessary to manage our solar-powered battery-swapping stations.
Who can apply to the Academy?
We welcome applications from motivated women who are interested in technology, sustainability, and community leadership. No prior experience in electrical engineering is required, as we provide comprehensive training from the ground up.
How long is the training program?
The certification program lasts a total of 8 weeks. This includes 6 weeks of intensive classroom instruction followed by 2 weeks of hands-on, supervised practice at an active BaSuka station.
What topics are covered in the curriculum?
Technical Operations: Solar arrays, DMS battery systems, and safety monitoring.
Clean Energy & Mobility: The transition to electric motorcycles and environmental impact.
Business Skills: Financial literacy, digital tool usage, and site maintenance.
Leadership: Customer excellence, conflict resolution, and community service.
Is there a certification at the end of the program?
Yes. Upon successfully passing the safety and operations exams, students receive a professional BaSuka Academy Certification, recognizing them as qualified energy infrastructure managers.
Does graduation guarantee a job?
Our goal is to assign every certified graduate to a station. While assignment depends on station availability in your area, all graduates are entered into our priority talent pool for new station launches and supervisory roles
What are the earnings for a Station Manager?
We use a performance-linked commission model designed to reward excellence. Our target is for certified managers to earn 2–3× the local minimum wage.
